An award ceremony recognising and celebrating the dedication and hard work of teachers and school staff throughout Kent and Medway took place on Friday, 8^th October 2021 at the Ashford International Hotel, Ashford, Kent.

The ceremony for the Kent Teacher of the Year Awards, saw more than 70 awards given to dedicated and inspirational staff, and we are excited and extremely proud to announce that our very own teacher of Mathematics, Mrs Anita Simpson scooped two awards, Maths Teacher of the Year in the Dover District and for Kent Secondary Maths Teacher of the Year, she was nominated by the Y13 students that she taught last year. 

Both awards are thoroughly deserved and just prove that Mrs Simpson’s hard work and dedication to Dover Grammar School for Girls has been recognised not only by the students & staff here but the awards panel too!  #KTOTY
