The Sixth Form at Dover Grammar School for Girls is a vibrant and lively place to be. The Sixth Form Team is made up of Mrs Laura Read (Head of Sixth Form), Mrs Lisa Gay (Senior Student Development), an experienced team of Form Tutors and Mrs Ann Griggs (Deputy Headteacher with responsibility for the Sixth Form). The Lillian Kay Sixth Form Centre provides a dedicated area for Sixth Formers. We welcome young men and women into the Sixth Form both from our own community of Year 11 students and from the widest range of maintained and independent schools. Students who join us, do so because they value the unique blend of structure, support and freedom that this very successful Sixth Form offers.
The Sixth Form brings challenge and opportunity and we do our best to support students through the important decisions that they make for their futures . Sixth Formers have more responsibility for their own work, requiring them to develop excellent study skills and to organise their own time. There is also scope to develop personal interests and to help with a variety of extra-curricular activities.
ALL STUDENTS SHOULD APPLY THROUGH COMPLETING OUR PAPER APPLICATION AND THROUGH UCAS PROGRESS: applications are accepted at any time
